For me, with that book, it wasn't so much the content that made me cry, because I know it's fiction and stuff like that doesn't really make me cry, but it was the fact that I was reading the last Harry Potter book and that there wouldn't be anymore and it was like the end of a legacy. I'd never read another Harry Potter book for the first time and it was weird and sad and surreal.

That was the same for me - I'd say the only part I really cried at because of the content was at the end, from the point where Harry saw Remus, Sirius, and his parents again until the epilogue.

Happiness Sold Separately by Lolly Winston. It's wasn't the best book ever, but all of the cheating and not being able to bear children really, really got to me.

The Post-Birthday World by Lionel Shriver. Very, very good book. Incredibly depressing though. Too much cheating again, and I was upset at the sad outcome(s) for the protagonist. It was a bit too much.

Definitely the notebook, i was literally sobbing by the time I finished it...until now I refuse to watch the movie afraid that it will ruin the book for me...

The Notebook was a tear jerker for me too - I've seen the movie and liked it, but I saw the movie before I read the book. Usually if movies based on books are bad, it doesn't ruin the book for me, so I say watch the movie Plus, I always go into the movie expecting it to be different and not as good as the book

Eclipse - SM.

The Jacob/Bella goodbye scene had me literally bawling.

HP and the half-blood prince + HP and the deathly hallows
also A million little pieces and My friend leonard and Bright shiny morning which are all three written by the awesome James Frey.
They had me crying not only for sadness but also for joy and most importantly because they made me feel love

You and me both - I felt so much for both Jacob and Bella and could see where each was coming from and the struggle they both were having

those scenes of Wanda and Jamie and when Ian told Jared that she was feeling like a woman, a woman that they were beating
