Happiness Sold Separately by Lolly Winston. It's wasn't the best book ever, but all of the cheating and not being able to bear children really, really got to me.
The Post-Birthday World by Lionel Shriver. Very, very good book. Incredibly depressing though. Too much cheating again, and I was upset at the sad outcome(s) for the protagonist. It was a bit too much. __________________

Definitely the notebook, i was literally sobbing by the time I finished it...until now I refuse to watch the movie afraid that it will ruin the book for me...

The Notebook was a tear jerker for me too - I've seen the movie and liked it, but I saw the movie before I read the book. Usually if movies based on books are bad, it doesn't ruin the book for me, so I say watch the movie Plus, I always go into the movie expecting it to be different and not as good as the book

The Kite Runner & A Thousand Splendid Suns, I cried. Two beautifully written novels.

HP and the half-blood prince + HP and the deathly hallows
also A million little pieces and My friend leonard and Bright shiny morning which are all three written by the awesome James Frey. They had me crying not only for sadness but also for joy and most importantly because they made me feel love |
