I've just finished Little Women and all I need to say is 'Beth'.

Saddest book ever. When I read the explanation about halfway through the book I couldn't believe it.

I know. I mean you knew something wasn't right but when you found out what had happened, my gosh that book made me cry.

I didn't see it coming at all. It took me over a week to finish it bc I cried like a baby every time I read a couple of pages.

I have to admit I had to stop for a bit too and come back to it, I wasn't expecting it to be so sad, it caught me completely off guard. Amazing book though.

I love to cry when I read, and there have been lots of books that have brought tears to my eyes, but most notably are: My Sister's Keeper, Atonement, Dreamland, Charlotte's Web.

I love it too when a book makes me cry - and I'm impressed that authors can do that. Charlotte's Web always makes me cry, even now when I read it Summers At Castle Auburn is another one that made me cry the first time I read it.

It always makes me respect the author more? I don't know, but when they can evoke such a strong emotion in me that I cry, it really says a lot. Charlotte's Web is such a heartbreaking book, it still makes me cry too. I recently cried reading The Pact: A Love Story by Jodi Picoult. also.

The Pact was another one for me too I teared up first at the part where they tell him he can't go to her funeral It's before you find out anything about what has actually happened and all you know is that he loves her so much...it was really heartbreaking.
