I'm looking forward to The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind made into movies. It's one of the best series I'v ever read. The story and the world that the author has created is very complicated and challenging that the director would surely have a hard time on it.

Just recently, I've heard that they're planning to film the first novel of the series and will be directed by Sam Raimi. Hopefully he'll do a great job because the book is really long and many scenes shouln't be cut.

I'm looking forward to seeing My Sisters Keeper now that the Fanning sisters are supposedly no longer in it.

Has anyone seen The Kite Runner? I was wondering what the movie is like. I read the book and I loved it. I couldn't put the book down. The way the writer describes things makes you feel like you are there and like you are really getting to know the characters. The book made such a big impression on me, that for weeks later the story just kept crossing my mind.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is being made into a movie. It's to be released this December.

Most movies based on books, IMO, are never as good as the books. The only one I found - personally - better than the book was The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks.

I didn't know Twilight was coming out December. Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates is also being made into a movie coming out December along with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by F. Scott Fitzgerald also being made into a movie coming out December. December's going to be the book into movie month I guess.

I've heard good things about The Kite Runner, but IMO the books always better so I go into a movie expecting that so I'm not disappointed.

I'm looking forward to Confessions of a Shopaholic, My Sister's Keeper, and The Lovely Bones. So far I like who's involved so that helps.

The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult will premiere on Lifetime June 28. It wasn't my favorite of hers by any means, but I'm going to watch the movie.

Veronica decides to die is being made into a movie, I dont know how I feel about it, Im quite excited cause its one of my favourite books but Im afraid theyll ruin it. Theyve got Sarah Michelle Gellar as Veronica, shes a good actress, I hope she does a good job, I would have preferred Bryce Dallas Howard, she looks the part more.

Usually I think that movies based on books are really terrible, but, if it's a book that really isn't that good, the movie can sometimes be better.

About a Boy, though, is one of my favorite movies and books. I read the book first and I was really pleased and surprised at how close the script and book were. I'm just now reading Perfume, but I can already see that the movie was pretty close to the book. The Outsiders is another example.

I just finished reading Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. Both the book and the animated film were extraordinarily imaginative and left me wanting more. They were very different from one another. I like it when the original material sparks the adapter's imagination and there's some new creation happening artistically.
