Ha. Her dress has been getting some snark too but I loved it.

I didn't like the dress much but I found the whole performance and also the stuff with the flashbacks way too cheesy. Never thought I'd say this, but too bad the old writers are gone. Especially those of season 1-2. bc they could write drama without it being so cheesy. Hayden could shine so much in these seasons.

I watched that newest episode now. In one scene it felt kind of sad. When she said "at this point I'm nearly forgotten" and avery says "people love you" and she answers "they used to love me" (back in the days). This applies more for hayden than juliette these days sadly. i mean we love her, but not many people left talking about her.

^ I wouldn't say they were pointless, but for me they were very confusing. I wanted to see more of Juliette's past with her dad. So was happy to watch, but did the writers change her past history?

I don't know if it has to do with her being tired of the show, but for since season 5 and especialyl the last episodes, hayden's acting went downhill a bit. I mean she still is really good, but not anymore as brilliant and authentic as she used to be. Either it has still something to do with fear of digging to much inot the characters feelings due to her past depressions or she is just unhappy (which I'd also fully understand).

Well it could be medication she might be on. Or it could be writing since they aren't giving her layers to sink into.

But I thought she was a lot of fun in this past episode.

Since none of the epsiodes this season (apart of the one where rayna died) is written even nearly as good as those in previous seasons (esp S1-3) that might be why.

I haven't gotten the impression that Hayden's acting has been slipping. Loved the recent exchange with Ed playing Glenn. Well, I really liked all of Juliette's scenes last week.
