Well, I haven't seen the show yet, but it looks like 519 will not be good for Juliette. I thought the water-in-the-face thing was maybe a publicity stunt. After the new clip, don't think so. D*mn it.

Very well said analysis of this crappy 5th season. The worst so far. I really don't understand what issues hayden and marshall have that he doesn't want her to lead this show. But hayden should leave it if marshall doesn't get fired (what I hope but doubt). Hayden is one of the best tv actresses of all time and she does deserve a better show and esp better writers/showrunners who recognize her talent. She shouldn't be the fifth wheel which she clearly is in this season. Bc as you said most her scenes are actually written from someone elses perspective, mostly maddie or hallie, with whose goals juliette interferes.

I agree hayden is really out of this show in some way. I mean her character doesn't sing anymore and only is a side character in many scenes plus haden never participates in any bts stuff like all other actors including avery (who is also wuite sidelined). She is the most sidelined of all. I wonder if she had some argues with marshall over the direction of the show and he sidelined her as punishment or bc he just simply doesn't want to work with her anymore. It's not nlikely that in sports a player that argues with the coach gets sidelined so i could see this also happening in showbusiness given the showrunner is like a coach in team sports.
