If that had been part of the press release / announcement about T9S, it would've generated controversy, too -- but instead of losing people who would watch the show no matter what, they would've gained a sizable portion of the audience lost because of S8.

I'd say one could dream, but one can't since That '90s Show is actually happening, and we'll learn whether or not S8 is ignored, disavowed, or treated as canon.

I dont like when shows do things that, no matter how bad a season is. I would rather they just work to try to correct mistakes they made. Number one being jackie and fez lmao.

Jackie and Donna antics in the first episode were kind of fun, I always enjoy those two together.

Jackie was sweet buying the ring for Donna and Eric. This mature version of Jackie is so much better.

Eric calling Kitty pretty little thing was hilarious.

Honestly right now I am forgetting what episode 21 was even about lmao. I think something with Fez and his g/f breaking up with him? Very not memorable to me.

Jackie spending time with Kelso when Hyde asked her not too was not cool. I dont blame him for being upset seeing them cuddling on the couch. You can be supportive without crossing lines. Jackie keeps doing these little things that keep hurting him, my heart hurts.

HOWEVER, it was no reason for him to go and cheat on her with the nurse. If he did (I cant remember what happened in that SL)

I did enjoy the SL with Fex and Kelso tough and Fez's dream about Kelso and Kelso saying "it means im gay!" that got a laugh out of me....

Jackie and Kelso reconciled, got married, divorced, then got remarried -- and have a son who's going to be part of the show. If this is true, I'm not surprised. I've been saying for years that if T7S ever had a reunion movie or continuation of some kind, Jackie and Kelso would be paired since their portrayers are married -- which, of course, makes total sense because what real-life people do is exactly what fictional characters they happen to play would do ...

To Jackie's mind, her feelings for Kelso are platonic, so I don't blame her for giving him verbal support and comfort. But, yeah, being physically (not sexually) comforting -- beyond a simple hug -- understandably confuses Hyde. But he should have -- and would have -- confronted Jackie directly about it. He wouldn't have slunk off like a passive-aggressive coward and broken up with Jackie by sleeping with someone else.

What Hyde does is not truly cheating since he has no intentions of continuing his relationship with Jackie afterward (unlike Kelso, who slept with Laurie for months while remaining in his relationship with Jackie). That doesn't make what Hyde does any better, but it's different than Kelso. He wants to breakup with Jackie in the most vengeful way possible, sending her the message, "You thought you could mess with me and get away with it, but you couldn't. And if this hurts you at all like the way you've hurt me, all the better. We're done."

personally i think even that premise: reconcilled, married, divorced and reconcilled again is nothing but toxic and shows us yet again that JK are a mess together. They never worked, it was proven by the show itself. But they moved on, became somewhat of friends, closed that chapter. Reopening it in such a way seems ridiculous. I have nothung but pity for their child, honestly.
