Yeah, I don't care who writes the show as long as they understand and respect who the characters really are -- and can write well.
 See, now, if Eric and Donna had gotten married at the end of S6, then I could've seen Jackie's marriage obsession kick back up. It would've been a slow-build, but she'd be jealous of Donna being married. __________________

Honestly, I would've preferred Jackie focusing on her career rather than being marriage-obsessed again -- like Hyde's new job/career situation inspires her (and Hyde encourages her).
She could've gone to Donna for advice about how to be career-focused like Donna (should've continued to be). __________________

Didn't people also get married earlier back in the 70s. And yes I would have loved to see Eric and Donna get married and also his parents reaction to it.

It would've been great to show E/D's married life for a season. So often, a wedding ends a series, but it's only the beginning of a marriage. I keep seeing/hearing Red laughing at Eric when Eric realizes married life isn't all "rainbows and unicorns".
