I'm doing a family re-watch of this season every evening

I'm up to the episode where Jackie announces she's pregnant. The scene where she inadvertently tells Mel and breaks up with him is equally cringe-worthy and hilarious.

I loved the episode CHUCKIE'S BACK - the references to the horror movie doll were so funny

The irony of the little boy from PET SEMATARY who came back from the dead as evil, played by Miko Hughes, was also the little boy who played the younger version of Chuckie on the TV show with Samantha Sanders, is not lost on me.

All of these horror movie actor connections are so cool! I liked her in the 2nd Chucky movie. Miko (little Chuckie) was incredible in Pet Sematary.

I finished Season 2 and this scene is both tragic and hilarious to me

I always remember this guy describing Dylan in that scene as "the worst type of alcoholic who goes bananas after just one drink"

And Christine Elisse (Emily) played in one of the movies about Chuckie.

They all seemed to be very unable to handle a mililiter of alcohol.

It is a very emotional scene and I somehow feel bad for everyone there.

Jim was a complete ass in that scene. I hated how many times Dylan went to him in a vulnerable state yet he kept throwing it back in his face. Yet if you notice, he's always on Dylan's side whenever he and Brenda are not together (it's the typical behavior as shown by De Niro's character in MEET THE PARENTS)

It's worth noting that I always held Season 3 responsible in the past for ruining B/D as a couple. yet the episode CARDIO FUNK kicks things off in that department.

Interestingly enough, I remember Charles Rosin saying that Steve Wasserman was very on board with Dylan/Kelly happening, and he co-wrote Cardio Funk.

Brenda and Dylan suddenly bleak and talk of "acting as if we've been married for 20 years" was a worrying sign - you can feel the writing against them in that episode.

Yup, she was the female lead in Child's Play 2.

Speaking of Miko Hughes (little Chuckie) another funny little 90210/horror connection involves him again. He played the son of Heather Langenkamp in one of my all time favorite horror films, Wes Craven's New Nightmare. His babysitter was played by Tracy Middendorf, aka Laura Kingman from season 4.

Cardio Funk was about Brenda-Dylan troubles, but it felt random to me. Not as a worrying sign. They have one bad episode and then everything is back to normal. Wedding Bell Blues was different though. That was a serious crisis, although not so much between them, but you could see it could lead to the end.
