Agreed. This new Brenda's boring. I get that Shannen didn't want the character to revert to her old drama queen ways, but is it impossible to make her entertaining without that? I'd like for her to be more like Prue. A character who was able to be pretty mellow yet at the same spunky/sassy. Oh, well. At least they threw us a bone by giving Brenda a nice car and crib.

Haha, at least she got Dean Cain!

Even at her mellowest, Brenda is a major draw. She's huge as far as TV characters go, one of the 90's definitive characters. Shannen's fanbase is nothing short of amazing either. That said, she won't be around much longer, thank goodness. She deserves much better material. I give the show one or two years at the most. I doubt it'll last much longer without major changes made.

None of the spin-off's storylines or characters are that impressive.

One part I did really like was Brenda's WTF expression at Kelly's plant gift.

That was played beautifully by Shannen. LOL.

It's those moments I don't mind and can even enjoy. The larger storylines are awful, though.

The small moments r fine and entertaining but then the big things come and its all messed and it just doesn't go...I basically agree with u lol

LOL. I know all this. All the characters are BLAH. I hope you didn't think I was putting her down or anything. I mean, she's my reason for watching. Basically I just want some of my old school Bren back in the character. That's all.
