Luckily for us Bn/K really were at their strongest in S5 (although Kel always would be involved with Dylan in some capacity) and S7 & 8.

I think having Dylan around would have been great seeing as he'd be there before, she would have leaned on him as usual

I guess the question is also whether she would tell him her father skipped town again, before considering turning to drugs.

Yep, he's the last person she'll ever shut out in a crisis, together or not. "Thank god I finally got phone privileges. Otherwise I might have jumped out a window by now." I just love her no-facade, morose self. And he doesn't judge. Hell, he's probably been there.

Yes and he was the one she called to talk about intimate problems with Brandon, I mean, look at how much she trusts the guy. She'd never not tell him everything in any situation. They've always been pretty honest with each other.

Back to S5, I also love the lines, Bn: "She won't show me all the damage. It's like she doesn't trust me." Dy: "Maybe she doesn't." ... Even though Dylan clarifies that he means Emily Valentine, etc. He says it so flat-out at first that you have time to be like, 'Yeah'.

Kel didn't trust Brandon like she did Dylan, especially in S5 when it was obvious. And as much as I did like Bn/K I always think back to that he cheated on Kel and Dylan never did or would. I think in a way Dylan respected Kelly so much more then Brandon ever did.
