Yeah I know but but it's pointless now. I can see why he wanted to leave and to be honest I didn't see the point of doing S9 and S10

I didn't want them to do S9 and S10 without Jason but it went on because the show was still making money.

I'm surprised to see your post now since you are probably 8 hours behind (if you live around the west coast)- it must be 7.30am where you are. We are in different time zones so when I'm on here, you'll probably be asleep

Good for noticing. Yea, it's weird. I'm still sick. It's been over 2 weeks now. I got a bad cold on Friday and I'm still going through it. I went to bed last night at 8pm (California time) and I woke up today at 5am (California time). Once I wake up, I know that I can't fall back asleep again before having to go to work. So, I just got up and do some posting.

I think that Jason could've made up a little by appearing on the spinoff as Sammy's father. But he turned that down too, which makes me wonder if he really believed that Brandon and Kelly should've been together. I still think so...but I guess he also could've not wanted to show up on the spinoff because he didn't want Brandon to be the type of father who wasn't around.

Awww oh dear me. Hope you get better soon - drink plenty of fluids. Ur a Cali girl? Wow....just like I'm a adopted Cali guy. London is 8 hours ahead of California. I think myself, Esma and Betty post roughly the same time as we are in Europe.

Jason should have appeared a few episodes in the spin-off and finally marry Kelly - and yes say he is Sammy's father, that would be good but Jason is Jason I guess

Jason was even on set directing. He had his chance right there but chose not to.

I think Jennie tried to persuade him but he was having none of it - there was no harm for him to do 2 or 3 episodes though.

I do get why Jason said no with his "muddy the waters" comment and to be fair to him he was actually right. However, there was unfinished business between their characters so I didn't see any harm for him to do a few episodes and finally bring BK back together

Only Jason knows why he didn't want to come back and probably his reasons may have been valid. Sometimes there may be reasons for his departure (in the old 90210) that we may not understand but he did say that he regretted it. I'm not sure if Jennie was upset about this since she knew Luke was coming back (Luke and Jennie appear to be close friends)

I believe Jason 's reasons were that he just wanted to do other roles and didn't want to be best known for being Brandon. I think Jennie was disappointed but not sure about being mad. I think Luke was disappointed too to not being able to see Jason there.

I do understand why Jason wanted to leave but when a show is only going for another 1.5 seasons, why not just stay there until the end. I know he wanted to find himself but still...

I agree and I think the current Jason agrees too knowing he didn't find much success with new shows after leaving but that's all a part of life. 1.5 years may sound like a lifetime to him and he was probably afraid that the show could lead into a 11th season too and it would never end. He also might've just left just to expect the show to not go past S9 but he was wrong.
