I loved that Kara knew that Leoben was out there. That she could sense him. Oh...and of course I loved the scene in her quarters when he was helping her with her painting and had his hand on her waist.

It was interesting that they were able to find each other in the middle of space... and that she is so willing to trust him after what he did on New Caprica. I love their cat and mouse games

Great scenes between them last night

I loved that they both knew the other was out there. I definitely liked their shared painting scene.

What bothered me was Leoben saying that his only connection to Kara was their mutual quest for earth when Sam confronted him in the cage. What about his plan to find someone to love and have her love him back?

Someone over on scifi.com forums mentioned that because that was said in the scene deleted from 'A Measure of Salvation' it wasn't canon. The deleted scene from 'Occupation' and the extended paint--sex scene were also not canon. The scene deleted from 'Occupation' showed Leoben's concern for Kara when she attempts suicide. Looking back almost all the scenes that show a more romantic connection between them have been deleted.

There is one scene in 'Taking a Break from Your Worries' where Sam and Kara are talking about Leoben and her captivity on NC. Sam asks "Do you love him?" Kara has a bemused look on her face as she gives the question some thought. (I always thought she was thinking about Leoben.) When Kara doesn't answer right away Sam says "Lee, do you love him?" or something like that.

Oh well I'm still hoping for Leoben/Kara to end up together but however it turns out I want more shared screen time for them.

Next week looks fantastic.
