Episode 1x1: Series Premiere Discussion Thread
Series Premiere: Thursday, Sept. 28 @ 8/7c!
"Pilot" In the superficial world of high fashion, image is everything. Styles come and go, and the only constants are the superthin beauties who wear them. How can an ordinary girl - a slightly plump plain-Jane from Queens - possibly fit in? The show finally premieres tomorrow! We can discuss the episode here. Yep, even ABC lists it as Pilot. I can't wait! It's almost time.

Yeah ABC only had it listed as "Pilot"
I hope the show does well tonight. I'm really nervous for it b/c there's so much competition on Thursday. __________________

That's my only problem too. I mean, I don't watch "Earl" or "CSI", but I think a lot of people will be tivo'ing, dvr'ing it because they're curious. It will just be hard to figure out the ratings and how well it does. I wish it had been after GA, not before, but oh well, i'm just glad ABC loved it enough to put it before GA and on a competitive night. At first it was going to be Friday nights, opposite Ghost Whisperer and something else, I can't remember. The critics love it though, so we'll just have to see what happens.

Aw. The Pilot was SO good! I hope it does well. America/Betty is just so likable. It's hard not to relate to her. I hope this show does well, because it's so awesome.

Totally loved the eppie!!!
Loved how Betty came walking into the lunchroom with her sack lunch and everyone else is seemingy eating salads.And then I couldn't help but laugh when Daniel and Betty got the the photoshoot and Betty picks up the chocolate donut (which looked soooo good by the way) to eat!! Too funny! But then Daniel had to humilate her. Never would I have done the photoshoot like Betty did. Talk about confidence and determination. She is one strong and brave woman!! I'm also proud of Betty for sticking up for herself and for calling Daniel out about the whole situation. for Justin for believing in his Aunt Betty! I think I'm gonna like this kid!I couldn't help but when Betty slammed the door close and the flat-screen tv fell of the wall!I'm so glad that Daniel apologized to Betty!!  That trip at the end was classic! Good job Betty!!Sorry for the rambling. But I really loved this show and am already looking forward to next weeks eppie! __________________
