ahhh i never did like the idea of Peter and Clarie together, it almost seemed like a reflection of Rory and Jess together, since Jess was in high school... maybe Claire could pick up where Rory left off.

Neither do I. As a high schooler, I just find Zach/Claire more realistic. Peter is nearly 30, right? And she's supposed to be 16? That's illegal (in most states). After "Homcoming," I thought their relationship was more of a sibling thing anyway. Or two people bonded by disaster.

The more I think about Nathan being Claire's dad, the more I'm convinced of it. He would probably have tabs on her, just in case the press ever found out. It would clear up why Nathan didn't want Peter to go to Texas, to that specific high school, to save a certain cheerleader.

But I don't know what I'm talking about.

Ah, but that would only have been adultery if Nathan was married at the time - which is seventeen years ago, give or take a few months. I doubt it.

Has anyone thought that maybe her dad is someone we don't know? Just a suggestion...would be a good twist if maybe this Linderman was her father, and we finally get to meet him.

I think the writers have said that Claire's father is someone we already know. I could be wrong.
