"Unspoken" by Kasey

I don't like the pairing at all. But - I'm doing some research for a fic I desperately want to write and since there are hardly any general pieces or character studies of Mallory, I had to swallow that bitter pill. As for the story - I was pleasantly surprised. The voice the author used for Abbey was quite authentic and over all it was a nice little fic.

And wait a second - there's virtual season for The Nanny? Really?

"Cup of Coffee" by angelbliss

It's a Sailormoon fanfiction -- but I suggest you read it too -- you don't have to know Sailormoon to actually love this.

This fic actually remind me of 48 Mondays (YA fanfic) -- only it's on the perspective of the girl...

It's an angsty fic...

That sounds good. I was a hardcore Sailor Moon fan back in the day. Will read ASAP. Thanks for the rec!

I read a Kelly Clarkson/Justin Guarrini fic. I have to tell you though, I thought it would be totally lame and it wasn't at all. There was real depth that I liked. Plus it had tons of romance, and I'm a hopeless romantic so I was hooked.

I'd link to it, but I don't think we can like to MSN boards. Can we?

No linking to forums of any sort, sorry. PMs are cool though.

Scorched Earth by Altariel

I was so enthralled I stayed up until midnight reading it and then printed if off for a friend. It's Deep Space Nine, and I think it's both one of the best Star Trek stories and one of the best fan fics I've ever read. I also like this author's other DS9 stories. She (or he?) also writes LotR, but I haven't read any of that yet.

And on ff.net, no less? Am surprised that you managed to wade through the crap and found something good there. I don't read this fandom, but I took a brief look and I have to say the style looks amazing. And, as you mentioned previously, opening with Hamlet does seem an effective way to block out the teeny boppers.

I'm currently reading Prelude and am on the last chapter. I find it wonderfully written and an interesting take on Study in Scarlet.

The Sherlock Holmes fandom is new to me and I am enjoying it immensely. So far, most of what I've read has been good but I'm sure I'll come across something horrible soon.

That's a great fandom for Mary Sues. When you see Holmes' long-lost sister or cousin appear, RUN.

Xander(us) Halloween by tohonomike

It's kind of different. And I like it. Xander is really different in this story.

A crossover with alot of things.

Crossbow - I read the reviews for Scorched Earth and put it in my favorites to read for later. Garak is my favorite DS9 character, and I have a feeling that I'll really enjoy this story once I can sit down and read it. Thanks for the reccomendation.
