I know there's already the "If you could only recommend one fic..." thread for recs of a random fandom - but I thought this thread might be a nice idea to see what people are reading at the moment.

How about you just post the link along with info of fandom, pairing (where it applies) and rating and give a brief statement on how you liked it.

I was just checking out the Gilmore Girls thread, so the last fic I read was SamiJoe's Leaving and Being Left. It's an alternate take on the scene where Jess is leaving Stars Hollow on the bus and runs into Rory. It's a good fic with quite sharp characterisation, especially for Rory.

"No Way Out" by Maria
It's a '24' fic and - as you could have guessed from my avatar it's about Jack/Nina. Though short and smutty (-> don't read if you are not old enough and/or can't handle this! <-) it has okay characterisation, and it makes me wonder whether their relationship was always about submission and dominance or if it just got that way after what happened in season 1. "In the End" by Confureku

I just read a lotr fic with a Legolas/OFC pairing. I don't usually read Legolas stories but I like this one. The plot is very original and it's even funny at times. The sequel gets even more complex as her plot gets even more elaborate. So overall it's an enjoyable read.
