I need some input on an original story that I'm writing. Would anybody be willing to read a snippet of it? It's romantic and focuses around an older couple with flashbacks.

I have a couple of ideas that I really do want to work on. I have some fan fic to finish up and then I think I'll try to resist that and give the original ideas a try. One of them would be set in the 60s so I'd have to do some research for the context, but I think that'd be pretty fun

Well, I love listening to my dad tell me stories about his growing up in a family of 7 kids, on a block with 50 kids, and all the mischief they got up to. And the hard times, and the things they got through together. I thought it would be a good basic for some original writing.
