I'm not sure...I go off of recommendations from other readers. I read this one girls stuff and its good and then i just check her favorite stories list..

I have one story which is a bit bizarre. It came about as a challenge to write a story about a character that gets to meet your favorite celebrity. He's in it but he's not the story and no they do not hook up...its mostly about this girl Samira and her being goofy and dumb and her family issues with her sister Shiva and of course the blossoming relationship between her and her bestfriend. The working title is life with speedy but it will be changed...

I have wanted to write for a long time, and have lots of ideas, but never got around to it. Maybe it was confidence IDK but writing fanfic was a great way to start writing something, and having a built-in, supportive readership is a BIG help!

You can post your fics however you like. You can link to individual stories, you can link to your LJ or your FF.net author page or you can just post your stories here. Just keep in mind the rules on fic ratings and the use of real life people and couples.

I love original fiction. Fictionpress is where I go to find them aswell and its true you do have to muddle through alot to get to the good ones. I belong to a writing group thats affiliated with fictionpress SKOW. Has anyone heard of that? They always link me to the best romance fics on the fictionpress site.

I belong to the Yahoo Group, But im linking you to the main site.

On the left side of the screen you can browse around under the category Awards and you can click on the headings Nominees, Winners, Past and Hall of Fame and it will give you links to authors/stories they have awarded as Best Romance stories in categories like: Best Het, Best Slash, Best Kiss, Best Love Triangle and other categories.

Right now. I have some sort of an idea for an original story. I don't know how to start it or anything. And that's usually a problem. Does anyone gets this. I might have to think of another idea or something.
