I was surprised when I found out that she's only ten years older than Dean. Maybe they purposely wanted a younger actress in the pilot to keep her for future years?

Mary's iconic in death and bringing her back could jeopardize that. More often than not, she's been possessed or some kind of vision, rather than her real self, and there was a big difference between her and Amy Gumenick's version. Who knows what she'll be like now?

The one thing I remember is that no one in heaven could find Mary or John, so maybe they had her hidden away. Wonder if that will come up

I didn't remember that Mary and John could not be found in heaven. Now I am really curious as to why lol!!

I feel the exactly the same way. She should be going off on her own and finding her place in the world again. She can go MIA for many episodes on her own hunts or making new friends with Jody etc.

They can't kill her off again until we get John back at least. I don't want another Campell story where they kill her off again so suddenly.

I think she's going to be back for awhile. I would be surprised if they brought her back to just kill her again right away

She could die within the first three episodes, she could live the whole season and die at the end, she could be left alive. Period. She could die and then be brought back. Again.

Hell, they could keep her alive and make her the next seasons villain.

Everything is open when it comes to this character so really waiting and hoping for the best is our only option.
