MADLY...

I bought it before having seen it, because, well.... it's Ryan. LOL. And I was not disappointed in the least. It really hit home on a few ocasions, and it just overall rocked.

true! At the OT thread! Gosh, I miss those days!

And I love that pic! I think Ryan did such an amazing job in this movie, he really seems so small and out of it. I think he should have win an award for it.

I'm so in to mood to see it, I guess I will watch it tonight

Those were the days

He really did deserve some recognition for it, he can really get into a role. When I see Ryan playing someone so dark and thoughtful as Leland, I never think of it as Ryan. That takes talent.

I know! He seems so young, it doesn't look like him...he is really not the Notebook Ryan!

Em, I think we are alone in our love for this movie!

I have love for this movie. Not a huge amount, but some.

It shocked me when I read that he filmed this within the same year as The Notebook on IMDB. That's a huge difference physically and mind-set wise.

I went to go rent this movie today but my blockbuster didn't have it in stock, I'm gonna keep trying until whoever rented it returns it. Instead i had to settle for the slaughter rule, soon I will see The United States of Leland though. I can't wait!

In the Uk we can't get this film yet but i think it comes out in the cinema soon as i really wanna see it because the trailer looks awesome!

This was filmed the same year as 'The Notebook'?! Wow, that's a huge difference.

I kinda like him with brown hair, it's pretty, i think it's that that makes him look younger...

See yas

I just saw this movie last night, and it was great! I watch movies all the time, but I never just sit and watch them...I always have to be doing something. But when I watched this movie, I really just watched it, and it was beautiful. he played this vunerable character so well. I also loved his talks with Pearl. He was just freaking amazing in this movie!

I never got to see the end of this movie... Can you tell me what happened? No, wait, I think I'll just have to go out and borrow it again.
