I've added everyone who'd asked. It's nice to have more shippers in here.

Saw it today! And... I liked it! They cut out a lot from the book, but they got the 'basic idea', so I respect that. I still wished it were a bit more in depth though. I would've loved to see more of little Henry and little Clare. Aww, and no Ingrid and no Kimy. I'm glad Gomez was more amusing/funny than d*uchey as in the book, but I still would've liked to see the Clare/Gomez relationship. It would've added some more tension/complexity. Oh well. Agreed, it's a hard book to transition onto the screen, and if it were to have all the details that we want, it would be over 3 hours long.
Yes, Eric and Rachel had amazing chemistry!! I was glad for that! The movie was indeed more romantic than the book, but it was just enough and didn't go too overboard. If it were any more romantic, it would be cringeworthy. __________________

Yeah, it was definitely a good thing that it wasn't cringeworthy.

I just came back from this movie, and it was really good! They did cut a lot out, but Rachel and Eric were great together.

No Kimy!? But she was so or seemed for important in the book I think the Clare/Gomez thing should of had a mention or something which would explain why he doesn't want her to marry him, but I really disliked Gomez in the book

I liked the movie version of Gomez. He provided some comedic relief.

I was like, what's even the point, to have had Gomez in the movie, since he barely even played a part in it. |

Kimy was like his second mother and like bonded him and his dad back together in a way. They should have included her.
I guess Gomez was there for comic relief and to play Cherisse's husband/boyfriend maybe? Periwinkles I lovee your icon __________________

Kimy's my second favorite character after Henry, himself. And yes, I adored how she became a second mother figure to Henry. Their relationship was so sweet.

Same here. I get that they didn't want to make it too long but I wished they included her.
I finished the book a few days ago and I cried my eyes out at the end __________________

^Have you seen the movie yet?
I thought for sure I'd cry at the movie, but surprisingly, I didn't. Some of the scenes were beautiful though. __________________

I cried some in the movie, but it was not as emotional as the book was.
