^ Yeah. The fact that we didn't get to watch more Shawn/Maya moments is one of my biggest disappointments with the show ending after three seasons. I feel like some of their best moments were yet to come.

Definitely, there were a lot more adventures to be had with them - & I imagine it would have been pretty funny to see Shawn dealing with having a teenage daughter

^ Yes! I was looking forward to watching Shawn attempt to handle the ups and downs of Maya's teen years, especially since I think he would have had more misses than hits before he figured things out.

^ Ooh, yeah. Even though Shawn had a good idea how Maya felt and what she thought, I'm sure he would have still been unsure how to help her with one of her concerns. Those were the moments I was most looking forward to, Shawn not knowing what to do when Maya asked him for his help but then him eventually figuring it out and helping her.

& there would be some things that he wouldn't really be able to relate to at all - like when she started dating boys, I think Shawn would have some trouble with that

^ Shawn giving Maya dating/love/relationship advice would have been hilarious! I'm sure Shawn would have tried very hard to convince Maya that she doesn't need to date, and when she does bring over a guy, he would interrogate them and be bad cop with every one of her dates/boyfriends.

Yeah, I think he'd probably let Cory influence him when it comes to how he's supposed to handle those situations, & then go way over board

^ Yeah. Since we know Shawn so well, it's so easy to imagine that he wouldn't be cool guy!Shawn when he sees that Maya is starting to grow up. I have no doubt that he would have said something along the lines of "I know guys like him!" after he meets one of Maya's dates or boyfriends.
