^ He probably would have. And you can bet that Shawn would have made a note of what worked so that he would know what to do the next time she was upset.

^ Right? We saw that in their first scene/episode together. Clearly neither one of them was going to let the other person get the upper hand, because it seemed like they had sized each other up and they had a good idea of what the other person was thinking. That push-and-pull dynamic would have been so enteraining to watch, especially as Maya got older and Shawn had to figure out how to deal.

Yeah, that would have been pretty entertaining, especially as Maya was a teenager & life was about to get a lot bigger for her, I bet Shawn would have really wanted to protect her, but wouldn't have known how to go about it

^ Exactly. The story was left unfinished at a point where things were getting good. Think about all of the fun Shawn/Maya moments we missed out on.
