Based on the carpool discussion in the sneak peak for next week's episode, it sounds like Owen has been visiting Amelia at the house (and made it past the front porch). I definitely missed seeing him in the episode.
Did anyone notice Amelia was drinking out of a sippy cup while everyone else was drinking wine out of nice glasses at the girl's night. Definitely made me go back to see if I was right. I just realized that based on the promtional pics for 12.03 they must have cut out the entire case that Owen was involved with. I think that Meredith thought was Amelia having sex because she knows that Amelia and Owen are making out , but was not thinking nothing like this from Maggie.
