I am not sure Josh actually realises how damaging it was to her? The fact that he has not apologised to her to this day is so telling. I re-read Mischa's Guardian interview from 2021 and she described the set as "completely abusive" and while I am sure some terms were agreed about what can / cannot go into the book I doubt Mischa anticipated so much talk about her so personally and so pointed at her family dynamics too.

Yeah, that's an interesting question. I know Mischa has a complicated relationship with her mother - they seem to have come back together somewhat after the low point - but did she expect so many people to fixate on Nuala?

I don't think so either and it's very odd how much time they spend talking about her - they spend more time blaming her for things than for Josh and Stephanie taking responsibility for their roles. It's really amusing to me that Rachel has the audacity to say she was a stage mom (which I don't doubt) when she herself was in Josh's ear and being written into storylines at her own request.

From Sepinwall's social media accounts, it looks like the book was sent out to participants less than two weeks before it was published, which seems like very little time for everyone to read through it and come to terms with it? It's no wonder at all she has made no mention of the book.
