When my school would force me into a play, which went on from elementary school through middle school, I felt like I was being forced to face a firing squad and I am 100% sure it showed in my "work". Finally in high school, I was able to move behind the scenes and do lights and props. Like, it's fine. Plenty of us can't act. You can seek out other gifts you have, lol.

It's interesting how acting was seen as the gateway to attention, press and praise. I guess that's evolved now to social media influencers? So at least they don't have to pretend to have the interest or skills for acting anymore, lol.

The limited amount I've seen of Tori in "reality TV", somehow she's still bad at it, lol. Like, I have zero interest in the Kardashians, but Kim Kardashian CAN be funny. Tori is still so awkward and bland.

Yes, I think Kourtney can be too from what little I've seen of her. They know how to play the game. I wonder if the difference, in part, is Tori was used to the cameras and attention from a very young age whereas it's something the Kardashians acquired over time. So they understand the mechanics of it better.

While I think the Kardashians are certainly spoiled, lol, and out of touch in that special way the super rich can be, they definitely have a head for business, specifically the business of their brand. In that sense, they work for it. Again, I say this as someone who hates reality TV and wishes it would die, lol. But Tori? She never learned to work for it, not really.

Yes absolutely agree, they are shrewd business people and while had a very privileged background, they have also worked (although I use the word 'worked' slightly differently than say - any average citizen that goes to work) to multiply it. Tori was born into a degree of wealth that most humans on this planet can only dream of, she has known nothing else and has made zero effort to try become independent and less entitled. It's sad really because I think that background has not prepared someone like Tori for the real world at all.

Oh yeah, Kris is definitely at the top of that business chain. But Robert Kardashian by most accounts was a decent man so I don't think he set out to raise a bunch of Tori Spellings, and that also probably had an impact. But I think Kris expects them to be involved. Versus the Donna thing was...bizarre. Aaron Spelling had such a weird Madonna/whore complex that he decided to put on full display in the form of his daughter.
