Quick update. L.A. Slasher is released on DVD (R1) tomorrow (or today, depending on where you are, or yesterday ). As it's an R1 release, that means that I would have to buy it online, however I never buy anything online in December, so i'll wait until January.

It's one of those ones where it's hard to say, if they're just selling her hard or if she actually has a major role.

On the posters, Mischa is first billed, but in the trailer, she isn't shown that much. Someone will have to take a hit for the team, and be the first to watch it.

I think I'll watch this one before I get around to the Swat movie and possibly Hope Lost.

Just got done watching it. Honestly not much to say. Not really all that good. It could have been much better, but nothing special. Mischa's character has a handful of scenes, and her acting is alright, but she doesn't have a whole to really do besides talk to her friend. The editing is good at times and then really awful at times. It's really a take it or leave thing for me. It's not really worth watching just to see Mischa, since her latest films have a lot more of her and her acting is better in those.

L.A. Slasher? It's been released already in the US (Dec 1st), and is released here in the UK at the end of the month (Jan 25th), albeit retitled.

I meant in regard to the overall wait time. It just seems to have struggled to find distribution when the early briefs for the film seemed quite positive. And when a movie struggles to get released, it usually foreshadows poor execution.

Well done on giving the wrong imnpression, "Abducted" looks like an action film. Though after reading Cablebot3000's post, I lost some interest in this film.

That is the most misleading cover I've ever seen lol. Bautista has just as much, possibly even less screentime than mischa. He's far from being a bad ass action character and the movie isn't even remotely action. These countries and their advertisement are so funny sometimes.
