This album still holds up the best. I get that part of that is because of it's commercial viability, but I also just think it's an overall good album. There aren't that many weak songs on it. It's definitely one I can listen to the whole way through, whereas with KC's other albums, there are definitely songs I consistently skip.

I completely agree. I think part of it is that it holds her/true emotion in it & that's something which people wanted & enjoyed hearing. Its why I feel Breakaway & Stronger stand out as I feel that while they may have been influenced by the label they hold her in them

I can listen to most of them. I still don't like Breakaway all that much (but I'll listen to it) & I usually skip Beautiful Disaster (although this version is better than the Thankful one)

I totally agree, Chelle. Breakaway and Stronger were the perfect blend of what Kelly wanted to do and what the label wanted her to do, IMO.

This era/album also had the best music videos. Perfect balance of plot/performance. Especially the BTHE video.

I do have a special spot for Addicted, and although I wish it had been picked as a single, I understand why it wasn't. It's funny how I totally thought Walk Away was too pop when I first heard it, and now it's one of my favorites off the album.

I just like the Walk Away for KC's dance moves and the fact that her brother was rocking out in the bathroom. I much prefer the BTHE video.

I haven't watched the Walk Away music video in ages. I do agree the song is a little more pop than the rest of the album but I think compared to AIEW its not does that make sense?
