what? Sorry I don't understand. Can you explain it to me one more time please?

Chris, my weekend was good too even though I didn't really do anything.

I'm originally from Amsterdam, Holland, but I'm temporarily living in Turkey right now. I'm hopefully moving back before the end of the year, though

Jen - Nice top! Do you have a special occasion coming up where you plan to wear it? And yes, we've come to the conclusion that a poll with multiple categories isn't possible.
Good to know. It's my best friend's 21st birthday coming up.

I live near London in England.

You guys wanna know something funny? It turns out that I'm not Anemic after all. I have something called 'Alpha Thalassemia' trait which presents like Anemia, but it means that I could get sick if I eat too much Iron. So all of that fuss about trying to find Iron to eat was for nothing.

What Chris tried to explain (and sorry Chris if I am stepping on your toes) is that pretend you are a regular poster at the Ashley Tisdale HSM thread. You always post there but when you come back, the thread is on the 2nd page and the last reply was from you. Nobody has replied in the thread. But you want to talk to someone about Ashley Tisdale in HSM so you then post maybe the word "bump" on the thread, or soemthing that doesn't really contribute to that discussion just so that the thread can pop back onto the first page and to the top and be better seen and posted on. Make any sense?

That is awesome! During my undergraduate studies, I was all set to study abroad in Australia at James Cook University! But something came up, and I couldn't I still want to visit though!

[Val]
What are you up to in Turkey?

[Jen]

I would love to visit London. Europe in general anyway

I did a project on Thalassemia for my microbiology class Freshman year. Did you know that you have a higher degree of protection from malaria than say, val or myself does?

[Tina]
in my experience, liver, shrimp. spinich, raisens, chicken turkey, nuts, egg yolk, dates
I only know this becasue I donate blood a lot, and can't be iron deficient to do that. I once ate 4 boxes of raisens the day before donating

Also, when its that time of month, you loose a lot of iron in your blood too
Not sure what jen eats though

Yup research says that it makes your blood cells more susceptible the non-dangerous species of malaria (Plasmodium vivax). This is also making your body un-livable to the evil bad strain of malaria, Plasmodium falciparum. So yes, go you!

Hows it goin Jen?

Do you eat daily vitamins? Some people don't know, but simply eating daily vitamins, something like centrum 1-a day womens, can dramatically help you balance your cholesterol. Many people, such as myself are very busy and can't watch what I eat too closely every day. I'd look for daily vitamins with Vitamin B3 and vitamin E in higher doses cause clinical trials show that those help with cholesterol

Jen--that's really interesting. Good luck on avoiding too much iron, now.

My morning cup of tea so didn't work for me this morning. Oops!

I have to have a Ribena in the morning or I'm cranky for the whole day. But that's because I think I'm addicted to it
