That should be how links have always worked. To update the name of the link, you need to do the second item OR us the global link icon in the reply box.

The first will just give the direct URL. The second allows you rename a link.

^ could be being a graphic/image issue it is lower on the list of fixes as was said to me for the issue I brought up

I have a feeling that the links used to automatically change to something like Fan Forum - Info Centre. Could have just been board URLs, not sure. I never used it but I have a vague memory of what this issue being mentioned is

Thanks, but I'd be surprised that's the case as that site hasn't been updated for years, so nothing should have changed.

The only thing I can think of right now as to why we can't directly post the images here anymore is that the site has reached it's bandwidth limit. Which is probably why we can't access the site right now.

I have that problem on your board, but none of the others that I have been on have it.

Also will there be a fix of when posts are read on boards, for example being on the forum last night and logging back on today and only finding the unread posts from the night before? and not all posts from when the new server went online..

Tracey I was just coming in here to ask about that same "issue" it would be nice that when we log out and log back in that boards would be seen as "read"

Does marking the board as read help? (do it when you know the board has all been read, then test for a few days to see if it clears the issue)

It doesn't I do that with Zach

What I mean is that I'll do "mark as read" but than next day threads are shown as unread -- though I guess that is normal if people have posted in them

I just think it would be nice if say log-in but than log-out right away that it would show threads as "read" instead of having them still bold

But if all you have done is logged out & not read them why would the posts mark as read? I don't ever logout so no idea if it used to do that, but sounds strange to me to ask the board to mark something as unread when it isn't read. I presumed the issue was older read threads not showing up as being read.

Do you mean you mark as read but then they show up as unread when you come back even though no one has posted? That is strange

Its the bold-ness of the threads that I am OCD bothered by its no big deal where I can learn to live with it if needed

before the new server the posts that were the last time you logged in when not in bold, so you knew those were read..
