No snow, thanks!

Of course, I’m feeling a bit anxious to get to summer where I can wear shorts and no shoes or socks every day. FREEDOM,

Lots of snow to go around here. All the roads in this county and the county north of here were closed overnight and this morning. Some are starting to be reopened now.

Eek, Chris, I hope you stay warm. There are so many frigidly cold places out there right now.

Yes we are in the 70s during the day.

Girls, I need snow. Please give it to me. I mean it's a bit chilly here but I need it for summer. That's how scared I am of summer here.

Lizzy, my cousin who lives in SD, California was here a few weeks ago and was surprised that it wasn't humid here. I told him it's because it's not yet summer and he was amazed that our temps here go as high as 105F during the summer which is still pretty normal for us. 70 is cold here so I can just imagine if I was there, I'd be the foreigner all bundled up and you're all looking at me like I'm crazy.

I love that you understand Fahrenheit! I do not understand Celsius! San Diego always has comfortable weather. It actually is not far from me, but I am in the desert, and we get up to 120 in the summer. 70 is super comfortable and really nice for the winter in the US.

that sounds too hot! And even worse if you humidity on top of that!

At least when I was in Las Vegas, I knew it was a dry heat!

We might get some snow next week but not sure how much!

That would be wonderful spring weather for me.

Looks like this snowstorm has finally blown out. All week we've also had extreme cold warnings. Now they're predicting rain for Sunday. It's crazy!

Hoping that will soon pass over there with that freezing!

It’s pouring rain here! I’m looking forward to this weekend cause I believe the kids above me are going to their dad’s for this weekend so it should be nice for me to catch up on my zen! And also 3 library books I borrowed.

Uh oh. Snow & rain doesn't sound like a good combo.

Actually, now that I think about it. I'll pick our typhoon season over forest fires in CA. Those are really scary and far worse because they're so unpredictable.

120? Nope, I'm not good at Fahrenheit. I converted all of that before I posted. I agree, I think 70 is really comfortable for everyone. I won't complain with 70 over here because we don't get temps like that but when we do it's... . LOL.

it does get confusing converting between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

I've been feeling out of sorts the past few days and just don't have much energy.

I'm watching the Super Bowl right now. This game is soooo boring. It's been only defensive play the majority of the game.

Lol ok that makes me feel a little better. They try to teach us how to convert in school, but no one retains it. It's kind of silly we are on our system, but it is what it is.

Ya it gets really hot in the summer though there is no humidity.

I’m not even watching the Super Bowl cause football is so slow to watch for me. I’m only used to ice hockey (Canadian!) cause they all move really fast, being on ice, rather than people merely running in football.

How you can feel better soon, Chris

Feel better soon, Chris!

Leanne, I watch hockey some on TV as well. I love football, but it's also part of the culture to watch the Super Bowl. I can't remember a year I haven't watched it.

Lizzy, I think the last time I remember watching the Super Bowl was when Katy Perry did the half time show and the internet went viral with that Left Shark

However, I would go to a Super Bowl party just to have buffalo wings and other junk food if invited, I think

On my local news, the sports guy said the game was rather boring

Ya the sharks with Katy Perry was a few years ago but definitely a memorable half time show!

Junk food at Super Bowl parties is so yummy!
