I'm 19 and I'll admit, I don't know a single person who has played the Choking Game (as far as I know, I mean I'm sure someone's played it but idk). It's probably less common than hard drugs.

I think if there were a Degrassi plot about the Choking Game it'd end up just like any other peer pressure plot. Character A convinces Character B to play the Choking Game, something bad happens, Character A and B are both in deep water.

I will say that seeing Alex again definitely reinforced how much I miss seeing Tori on the show.

I actually really enjoyed The Choking Game! It might have been because it was late, the drinks, or that LMN movies are my guilty pleasure but this was right up my alley. We had Roz from Frasier as the helicopter mom driving the lead girl to act out and the huh? dad. And Alex as Nina as the bad girl. Her character had more depth than expected though and the ending had me feeling quite a bit of sympathy for her. Alex has matured so much as a woman and as an actor! I barely recognize her!

Alex Steele has joined the cast of ABC’s drama pilot, “Original Sin,” TheWrap has learned exclusively. From writer Jenna Bans (“Grey’s Anatomy”), “Original Sin” follows the return of a politician’s (Joan Allen) son, Adam Warren (Liam James) presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier, sends shockwaves through his tight knit family. But as the mysterious young man is welcomed back into his community, the neighbor sitting in jail for his murder is released and the cop responsible is forced to reexamine what truly happened so many years ago. Steele will play the younger version of Floriana Lima’s Bridey Howard, who is a local newspaper reporter with a mysterious connection to Adam. The role will recur if ABC orders the pilot to series. In addition to Allen, James, and Lima, Steele joins previously announced cast members Alison Pill, Zach Gilford, Margot Bingham, Rarmian Newton, Andrew McCarthy and Rupert Graves. Bans and Mandeville Television’s David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks are set to executive produce. Steele is best known for playing Tori Santamaria on “Degrassi: The Next Generation” for 12 years. She has also starred in Lifetime TV movie “The Choking Game” and the upcoming drama “Wildflower.”

I think one of my favorite Tori moments might be the bra conversation with Maya. Not lace or strapless...a sports bra. Also I think she blew my mind in Got Your Money. Just when I started to see her differently and hoped for some juicy character development she had to disappear.

I really came to like Tori. It's too bad that Alex had to leave the show, even though I realize she wasn't exactly being used properly. It's sad because I don't think Maya/Tristan really lived up to either Maya/Tori or Tori/Tristan. Plus there's still the question of how she'd interact with Zig post break up. Sometimes I wonder if she would have been the one to end up with Miles, instead.
