Right. We haven't gotten much backstory on the Miles/Winston friendship, but I could see them sticking together because it's what feels the most comfortable. Neither character has very many friends in general. Miles, in particular, keeps dating/hooking up with all of his. What's interesting is that I'd consider Miles/Winston to be one of Miles' least deep relationships. We've seen him open up much more to Tristan and, to a lesser extent, Maya and Esme.

I don't remember Miles/Winston having a single scene together this season, but there wasn't much Winston in general and most of Winston's scenes were with Zoe. Maybe it's because Winston doesn't have much of a relationship with Tristan that they didn't use him for that story line, but I agree that it seems like they are gravitating apart because it seems like he would've been there to support Miles at least.

Rasha and Saad are part of this class, right? Still, I wonder if they'll keep them back an extra school year. 20 episodes seems like such a small amount of time for a character to be on the show.

I missed seeing Miles/Winston scenes, but I have to admit that I enjoy that Winston/Zoe/Goldi/Rasha group.

I believe so. This class is so big that I'm expecting that a couple of them are staying back. Esme, Goldi, Rasha and Saad could really benefit from an extra year.

As far as I know, Rasha and Saad are juniors, not seniors. So we won't have to worry about their lack of development just yet. As for Esme, I've been thinking for a long time she'll be left back, but who knows?

That would make more sense. Otherwise if they were seniors it would be 13 seniors and 7 juniors. I just couldn't tell because all their scenes and classes were with seniors.

I think with them being refugees that it will be pretty easy for them to come up with a reason to keep them around even if they aren't juniors.

Kinda sad that Esme and Goldi will be going away with this class, I hope they can come up with a reason to keep them around. With Goldi, it'll be easy since Baaz is still there but what about Esme?

It turns out that Esme will be the one that sticks around and I'm certainly thankful for that after watching her story line this season.

As for Goldi, she's gone but with Baaz and Rashsa there's always a chance of a cameo.
