Most men don't see anything wrong with flirty gestures whether they're single or married. My colleague is also married, we slept together when they broke up, and now he's back with her. Which is fine. Because she is the mother of his 2 children.

Oh man, that is a hard situation. I bet he likes the attention he receives from you (or if you have been distancing yourself, and not really giving him attention), he likes how he feels around you, likes flirting, etc. I agree that it is best to try to distance yourself and not get involved, though your position is a hard one.

Thanks Carol! That's possible. I suppose he likes to assert himself and look out for me, which is nice as well. On the plus side, having a good team like that makes it a pleasant place to work as my previous workplace wasn't as friendly.
