I took my son to the dentist yesterday. It went well. Almost felt like normal.

Alot of my friends have their tree up, I am eager to do the same but i will wait til after 1st Dec as I usually do. I am feeling more Christmassy too Claire got most of my shopping done now! I have a christmassy event coming up, its all outdoors so fortunately is still going on, a castle is having a festive lit up display all set up so am thinking when is the right time to go - dont want to pick a very busy day.

Do you use a real tree or a fake one?

Well, I have a metallic tree shaped table top one, two sparkly towers (one is snowmen, other is ball ornaments), a real Charlie Brown tree in my bedroom and a white sparkles garland with white lights once the sun goes down I turn it on.

We put up decorations up a couple of weeks before Christmas, I can't put up with them for more than 4 weeks.

I've not done any cards yet, but most presents are bought and wrapped now. The shops closing for 4 weeks focused my mind!

My daughter gets to go back to school tomorrow! I worry about her, she hasn't been outside for so long.

Theresa You'll put your tree up tomorrow? How fun! I usually do mine sometime after Thanksgiving. It just depends on when I have time.

Claire I hope your daughter does well as she returns to school. Your stores are shutting down for 4 weeks?A I worry about that here. I need to get my shopping done. I haven't done much at all; I just hate getting out. I need to do most of it online, I guess.

I did get my Christmas tree up and decorated this weekend. We usually go to Texas for Thanksgiving but with Covid, and then I developed shingles, we decided to stay home. So I was able to get my tree up and decorated with the help of my sister.

Well Carol the shops have been closed here for the past 4 weeks, but the good news is they open again on Wednesday.

I'm planning to go and get a few things that day!

Most other things are staying shut for the foreseeable future, though. No cinemas, restaurants, or pubs will be open for some time!

My parents said they don’t want gifts this year so I’m wondering if I should just do the same for siblings since we may want to save up our funds during the pandemic times
