Hi Jade

We are waiting for rain, too. We are not use to seeing whole neighborhoods with brown grass/lawns. We are use to seeing green healthy manicured yards all over Seattle!!! This is crazy and only the 8th of August!!! Our lawn is dry like straw or hay. We haven't seen rain for quite a while now.

That sounds very dry, Karen. The place we were staying at on holiday in the Netherlands was in drought too. There was supposed to be a small lake next to our house there, but it was all dried up.

I'm glad your cat is getting better, Erin.

We're back from our holiday. Getting home was much nicer than going away, eventhough google maps stopped working at one point and we got a bit lost!

It's nice to be home, although we're in South Wales for a few days next week, too.

We just had a sprinkle here for about 10 minutes, but it didn't even wet the floor. I wish I lives by the coast or something, I feel like Birmingham is a dead weather zone.

Hey Claire - thanks! Yes he is. He's almost done with his antibiotic now just a few more days. I can't wait for that because it's not easy getting a cat to take a pill.

We've just got the rain! OMG! It's so heavy I can barely see across the street. Hopefully once it's calmed down it will feel more fresh outside.

I lay in bed for 45 minutes earlier because i was so tired and sleep won't take me. Insomnia sucks!
