I remember seeing her for the first time in the pilot and thinking I never saw her before, who is she? I feel special cause I got to see her emergence into her acting career which just got better and better.

Your Twitter fans now never got to see it from the start through years..

I think her Twitter fans don't appreciate Scully as much as the OGs do. I feel like they're more into Stella or Jean.

I bet they are more used to seeing women empowered and in male dominated fields of work and more tough cookie characters, cause to me, Scully was the first woman on tv that wasn’t the role of a typical female on tv.

So yeah, Scully wouldn’t have the same impact for the youngers than my generation.

Exactly! She was one of the first powerful characters on TV and that's what made her stand out to me. And she wasn't that typical female role either, she looked different and I loved that. I was little when TXF was on TV but one of my older sisters always talked about Scully and looked up to her a lot.

My younger sister was Scully for Halloween one year. And, yes, Scully had an influence on both of us apparently cause I ended up working in a male penitentiary and she ended up being a border guard!

(we both left those jobs by now though)
