My job just hired someone new and his office is right next to mine. He already annoys me. So every time he leaves his office, he lets the door slam. Mind you, these doors are fire resistant so you know they slam HARD AF. My desk legit shakes.

I learned that I really am the type who can and should work alone.
I slept well, but I feel like I just want to go home and nap the day away, and away from people! I don't know why I get like this at times. Maybe its autistic overwhelm from stimulation. __________________

Yes, most definitely. I remember when my parents had "parties" full of people around and I always had to, at some point, seem unsocial and hide into my bedroom for some alone space. I always felt guilty too, like I was being unsocial for doing that, but it was for my own sanity during the events.
I don't really mind the idea of a lockdown cause I'm fine being in my own apartment doing things in peace and quiet. __________________

So that's why you get tired around people easily. Why do you tend to blame things on your autism?

What I don't understand is how she still has that job. It always seemed like people were let go so often and easily at my British school (as opposed to how it is here). __________________

Cause I can't think why else I act like that. Cause in my mind, I logically think I should like that stuff, like everyone else I know.

I honestly don’t think everything you feel or do is linked to your autism. From interacting with you here, I don’t notice anything out of the ordinary.

That's thankfully cause through writing which I've always been good at, you won't notice much at all. Talk to me in person, and it might be obvious. Ask Claire. We met in person.
I'm ready for lunch for its not for an hour. Plus I brought dried oatmeal and some soup that I just need water to add... but luck would have it, it says in the staff room that our water has lead in it. So...... __________________

Well I dated someone with your form of autism, so I have an idea.
I’m about to eat lunch soon. |

I've never met another person I know of in person with my type. I did visit a fellow poster, whose daughter had aspergers'. But my whole visit at her house, the girl did not leave her bedroom so I never saw or heard her!
What are you having? __________________

Glad you are familiar with RL experience!
I can't feel like I can't stand my mask today. I keep taking it off just to breathe and cool off. __________________
