I've just finished watching the first episode too. Didn't blow me away like some programmes do but still thought it was very good and probably better than I was expecting.

I could have sworn that I've seen Tru's sister in something else. I spent most of the episode trying to place her

Ah, thanks for the list. I think it must have been off Dignosis Murder and Lois and Clark that I recognise her. She's actually been in quite a lot of shows looking at that.

I wasn't implying that Saturday wasn't suitable; I just wanted to have a sorta contingency plan of sorts, (I know lame) to ensure that I didn't miss the ep...and knowing when the repeats are on helps this.

Anyway, I did watch the pilot last night. Still uncertain of what my true (no pun intended, heh) feelings towards the show were, but I think it's pretty much positive so I will definitely watch Tuesday.

My only gripe with this first ep was that it felt kinda rushed. I guess that was to be expected though. Quite a lot of back-story to get in an hour, maybe a two-hour ep might have been better? I dunno. Oh, one last thing, I hope they cut down with the running in the next episodes.

I read that FOX have given approval for the season finale in the US to be filmed as a two hour episode. Ordinarily I would think this is a good sign for another season but could it just be a way of tying up the ends so the show has a finish?

Hi Vix Don't worry, I taped it for you

Last night when Eliza was on Richard and Judy she was talking about how some of the Buffy fans were really insane and that there are some scary websites out there. I turned to my Mum and said "OMG! She's talking about me!!!" and my brother said "No she's not!" and Mum said "Shhhh Greg! She's talking about Jen!"

This week’s episode was somewhat slower paced than the Pilot but I suppose this was only to be expected. At least she was not running everywhere.

Generally it was okay, with the now established call for help from the dead which Tru has to decipher in order to save someone. Slight twist this time with it actually being someone else she had to save and not the dead person who ‘asked’ for help.

The one thing that just did not work for me was the ‘relationship’ with the fireman. She wakes up knowing her long term boyfriend is going to cheat on her but then within the space of a few hours she is falling for another guy to the extent of holding hands and kissing. This storyline was made weaker as Tru had talked to her friend about how she does not often fall for a guy but when she does she falls hard. If this was the case then she would have been more broken up about her boyfriend cheating.

Mind you it was good at the end when he was saying if he could have the day over again he would do it all different to which she replied ‘you only get one day’.

All in all a fairly average episode.
