I.. um... heh. What?

Sorry. I'm a little late on the thread reading

If you ask me, out of all the shows that aired last year, all of them, Tru Calling was the only one worth anything. It was the only show that never faltered in quality and never disappointed.

I hate stupid TV networks.

And why would they cancel it when Friends, which was apparently was their biggest competition, is over? They could put it up on a night where it wouldn't be up against much.

Stupid, stupid FOX.

I don't think that The WB is smart enough to realize what a great show it is. They have taken FOX shows before, though, such as Grounded for Life.

Maybe a midseason pickup?

I hope, for once, a petition can actually work. This is a nightmare

Reality spoof My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, heavily promoted by Fox during the baseball playoffs and World Series (news - web sites), stiffed (90th place, 4.4 million). North Shore (84th place, 5 million) lost about 40 percent of The O.C.'s audience. Arrested Development, hot off its Emmy win for Outstanding Comedy Series, improved only marginally over last season's cold numbers (68th place, 6.6 million).
HA!!! Take that, you miserable FOX people!

TRU DAT!

It's sad how I do enjoy the potential of The North Shore bombing.

Yeah, six episodes in the second season will bite. I wish Fox would realize how many fans of Tru Calling there are out there, and use their judgment to put Tru Calling back on the air so the fans can enjoy it, and I'm sure the ratings would be higher since it probably wouldn't be running up against some big, major show like 'Friends.'

But if they filmed more episodes, how do they decide which ones not to show? There will probably be plot holes and stuff

We don't know that they filmed more than six episodes. The given, there's only six for the second season, unless if I'm mistaken, but we don't know if those will even be released on DVD or VHS.

We do need more information on this, so if any of you have researched into this, please share.

They only shot six episodes. Production was shut down after they finished the sixth.

Everything FOX has done so far (folding and holding the sets, preventing the producers from pitching the show to other networks) sounds like they might be hedging. If enough of their schedule bombs, and particularly if (as seems to be the case) the reality-tv fad begins to fade, FOX could decide next month to put TC on after all. Six eps in the can would give them enough time to restart production.

Keep in mind that people like 'The OC', but I don't care much for 'North Shore.' There's too much sex appeal, and not enough plot, if you ask me. That's my opinion, so I'm not sure what everyone else thinks about it.
