GENERAL DISCUSSION - SEASON 1

The first season deals with the first half of the main teenage characters' junior year. The focus is on the rivalry between Lucas
and Nathan during the state basketball championship. Other major storylines are Nathan and Haley's developing relationship,
the Peyton-Lucas-Brooke love triangle and the love quadrangle involving Lucas and Nathan's parents.

Who would you have wanted to have more screentime this season? Can be an character or an friendship?

I would have liked to see more of Peyton this season. I was really interested in her story right from the start.

Personally, I think we got a lot of Peyton this season.

A good amount, but her story should have been better.

Yeah, slowly down her change in character would have been better imo.

Peyton was by far my favorite character so I would have liked seeing heavy doses of Peyton in every season, 24-7, lol.

Yes, there was so much to explore with Peyton in season 1... she was feeling so much but held back and kept it all inside for the most part. Obviously, it made sense why she went there. I just feel like more exploration would have been great.

I think if they had slowed down her development then we'd probably have got better exploration.

It was clear that Peyton was the main female lead of the show with this season, but I would've liked her character to have been explored more separately from her relationships (with Nathan/Lucas etc).

Yeah definitely, it's the same with Nathan too.
