1x05 - All That You Can't Leave Behind

Lucas asks Keith to play with him in the annual "Father and Son" basketball game, and realizes he got the better father figure after Dan publicly humiliates Nathan on the court. Also, Peyton has a hard time dealing with the anniversary of her mother's death and finds a comforting ally in Whitey.

I felt like this episode kinda put into words and actions of what we already knew.

We knew Dan was a jerk on the court and off and would do anything to win, no matter what the costs. Keith just wanted to be Lucas' father for one night and of course, Lucas' real father, made sure no one would leave without him knowing he won the game.

It was a disappointing episode.

i love the n/p chemistry but it was time for them to break up. peyton was too strong to put up with nathans crap.

Haley avoiding Lucas. Then the truth about Haley helping Lucas by agreeing to tutor Nathan. Unfortunately, Nate has still been somewhat a jerk.

Loved how Lucas just got into Peyton's car and she was off fast. The things that boy does for her!

It's cute Peyton went to talk to Coach about her problems.

lucas always bothered me with Peyton,...and Peyton along the way got me too i used to love peyton in like 2/3 episodes afterwards it went downhill lol!

Peyton never bothered me, I relate to her. Brooke bothered me. She reminds me of the girls that bullied me in school, only no one ever really called her out on it when they should have.

Lucas had moments where he really bothered me, though. The constantly using women, for one.

I mean, at least with Lindsey he did at least believe he loved her, but when Peyton came back he was basically using her to hide behind. He should have manned up and respected her enough to tell her the truth.
