Peyton and Brooke Appreciation Thread



A Friendship Once Built On The Fact That No Guy Can Come Between Them:

BROOKE:Peyton!
(Peyton looks angry that she followed her and turns around)
BROOKE: What’s going on? Are you mad at me?
PEYTON:(almost with tears in her eyes) Its not you Brooke its me, I thought I was cool with this but I’m not, I’m sorry.
BROOKE:With me and Lucas?! You do not have to feel like a third wheel. You’re my best friend. Ok? He gets that.
PEYTON:It’s not that Brooke.
BROOKE:Then what is it?
PEYTON: I just…(looks back at Brooke and stops). You’re right it’s the whole third wheel thing, I guess I just missed you.
BROOKE: Then will you please come inside and hang out? I miss you too, ok? Come on.

SHATTERED:

BROOKE: Hey
PEYTON: You’re out late.
BROOKE: Lucky thing you finding Lucas like that. If you didn’t come along, who knows what might have happened.
PEYTON: Everything turned out okay.
BROOKE: No, not really. I don’t know what hurts worse, you and Lucas sneaking around behind my back or you lying about it to my face.
PEYTON: Brooke
BROOKE: No. The next time you want to steal my boyfriend, you might want to turn that thing off. (Looks to the web cam) I went into his room to check on him and his computer was on. I know you two were together. He meant everything to me, Peyton. And I was ready to try and be his friend if that’s what he needed. And now I don’t really care if I see either one of you again.

A Weekend Away Brought A Ray Of Hope:

PEYTON: So which bed do you want? The window or the door?
BROOKE: Whatever.
PEYTON: Brooke can we just make the best of this?
BROOKE: Fine. But I’m not doing it for you, I’m doing it for the squad. Call it a cheer truce.

Until The Weekend Was Over:

PEYTON: Think Claire Young is still in shock?
BROOKE: Look, Peyton, it was really fun to get caught up in the weekend and forget about all the crap between us.
PEYTON: Yeah, it was.
BROOKE: But it doesn’t change what you did. Okay? We’re not friends anymore, we’re just on the same squad.
PEYTON: Brooke, you might not be my friend, but I’m still yours. And I’m going to prove it to you. I’ll see ya.

Yet It Seemed About Time To Give Up:

PEYTON: Brooke! Brooke, we got to stop doing this.
BROOKE: Fine, I’ll stop talking to you and you can definitely stop talking to me.
PEYTON: Okay. I mean we’re not really friends anymore, are we?
BROOKE: You know, for a fake blonde you catch on slow.
PEYTON: Alright, I tried apologizing to you and I’m done trying now.

BROOKE: Good. I mean it’s really pretty pathetic.
PEYTON: Fine, if that’s what you want. Fine. (She walks away and Brooke looks disappointed)

Until Fate Finally Kicked In:


Brooke:Who knew tutor girl could throw such a rager?
Peyton:Who Knew. So thanks for sticking up for me.
Brooke:Nikki was kinda my responisbility...probably a mistake to bring her.
Peyton:Ya think?
Brooke:Judgement imparied by rage and cocktails i admit it. And I'm sorry.I Wanna call a truce. A real one.
Peyton:Friends again?

Brooke:Just not enemies anymore.

Brooke:I was thinking about Lucas. How he's just a guy. He makes mistakes like all the rest of us.

Peyton:Maybe. It just feels so much worse when you expect more from somebody.

Brooke:Yeah. I know...So that Nikki B*tch is crazy.
Peyton:You think its possible you and me will ever get back to the way we were?
Brooke:Doesn't feel like it sometimes.
Peyton:Yeah.
Brooke:I'm so tired..

Peyton:Me too..

Me too. I was just about to start a thread for the two of them.

I've loved their friendship since the beginning and tonight's scene in Peyton's room was great. It's about time they forget about Lucas and get back to where they were. They rocked together!

yeah i agree. what peyton did was wrong no doubt about it. and brooke had every right to feel betrayed and a part of me thinks she was somewhat trying to replace peyton with nikki but she knew she couldn't. and i just loved their last scene together. at first i thought it was a dream peyton was having because it just felt like it. but then when brooke laid on her bed and they just...talked. it was a great scene, well written. brooke was saying they wont be best friends right away, but she doesnt want to fight anymore. she doesn't want to be enemies.

Peyton's seriously peeved me in the past. And I was furious over the L/P cheating stuff. But, I think Peyton finally understood tonight how much she hurt Brooke.

And I think they miss each other. You aren't friends for like ten years and then just able to call it quits. The scene between them was so heartbreaking when they both realized that it would never be the same. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] Give me Peyton and Brooke. I really loved these two again tonight.

I forgot how much I missed them together.
