Anyone else see the pic Nina posted of what, I'm assuming, is her last day filming with Candice and Kat? She looks to be dressed and styled in classic Elena attire, but Kat and Candice look pretty modern day TVD Bonnie and Caroline. Wonder what that's about?

I saw that. Maybe Elena gets sent back to when she started high school and she gets to "redo" that part of her life so she can have a normal life? IDK.

It definitely gives me the vibe that something will happen that will bring her back to the Elena from earlier seasons. Turning human and time travelling back to when her parents were still alive? How else would these pictures happen otherwise since it seems they are in the Gilbert House.

Dammit, this is sadder than I thought it would be.
Personally, I just hope that JP retains her obsession with DE and the series finale has them together. Hopefully Nina agrees to being in the finale. |

Possibly crazy speculation but what if Elena dies and she's sent to a certain "prison world" but it's actually her own paradise where she's a human and she relives her life with her parents, Jeremy and Jenna like the last six seasons never happened? Like Bonnie makes it for her like Sheila/Grams made the arrangements for Bonnie to go to the 1994 prison world.

I was thinking that too. It would be a bittersweet kind of ending. On the one hand, the viewers know that it's all an illusion, but the character probably gets to relive the "better" days. I don't know, it's also kind of contrived but I guess that hasn't stopped these people. Unless, she really does die and TVD does their own version of what heaven will be, like Lost once did. LOL!
Elena fans might not take this well though. They might want a happy ending for her. |
