I liked it too. I think Caroline pushes Stefan away not really to punish him but because she thinks he is just going to reject her again using different words.

For sure. Idk what Stefan was trying to say but it was obvious she walked away as fast as she could because she didn't want to be rejected. I think the scene was implying Stefan does love her but if he does the writers are doing an atrocious job at getting it across lol.

Yep, I think they are trying to show that he is conflicted about opening up to her or something, but most of the time it just comes off as him being a bit bewildered and not wanting to hurt her more, but not being able to give her what she wants. Romantic, huh?

I just can't see how they are going to do this. What will be his reasoning for why he waffled about his feelings for so long? For why he flat out denied them? Are they trying to show that he is growing to love her(what, is this an arranged marriage?!) or that he has loved her all along? Ugh

And the did not see the Luke/Liv and Jo association...so I had alot of surprises.

I was for once not overwhelmed with every scene being Delena filled

And yes, it is seeming like Delena Ride Part II is what to expect

But there was a small Stefan moment where he told Elena...it was because he loved her..they are my ship of choice but the writers destroyed the best couple they had from the start and what made TVD rock

However, so far..likely best epi in a long time. Let's hope the next is at least as riveting...I enjoy suspense and surprise..and keep Kai evil...his dad and him...totally digging their crazy weird selves

Caroline and Stefan..IDK...it feels forced...just so Stefan can have someone new. At least Caroline is loyal. Stefan deserves at least that from someone.

It's only forced between them when the writers flat out write it to be forced. They spark just fine if they're allowed the material for it.

This thread is pretty bipolar at times. Weren't people hating on Caroline and SC not too long ago? Not that I mind the change, but it makes me giggle (I know not everyone here was hating - just generalizing what I saw in the thread before).

It's this show.. it seriously makes people crazy. I loved Damon and Stefan's scene when Damon came back.. but their scenes today made me want to punch something. I will freely admit to acting bipolar about this show but it's because it is so inconsistent and stupid.
