Anyhooo- I dislike Missy so yay for Jack and Courtney!!

But tears for the University Ethics Committee- I will pay them to be kind!!! Seriously I will pay them!! Grace and Tom FOR EVER!

Hopefully Tom will defend Grace or the other way around, or Tom's father will interevene, and they will be left alone. I'm still praying *fingers crossed* But what's Benedict going to say? He and Grace were kind of on a "friends" type meet-and-greet basis.

I'm very excited for the spoilers regarding Jack and Courtney - a kiss

The storylines sound great for all the the episodes and I can't wait to see them

I'm curious-in the spoilers for the stuck-beacuase-of-snow-storm one, they say that "he" gets the guys to come to Grace's house. Is "he", Tom or Bobby? It's not very specific.

Subject, I scold you.

Anyway, I'm still dreading what may befall T/G. I hope it'll be OK, but knowing Grace, she'll completely flip out. And of course, the only person known to calm her down will be the one who's currently causing the stress. I hope Tom keeps her togethor though. She's such a fragile person. And I'm kind of looking forward to seeing Tom and Bobby do some bonding. It could be interesting, the way things could work. Benedict's likely to be in on the Etchics Committee discussions, and he's close with Bobby, and sort of close with Grace, which could make things a little bit different.

On another note, if Tom's father is the wealthy donor that we think he is, it's possible the Comittee won't be able to do anything without risking the university. Food for thought.......

Later in the evening, Peter (John Slattery) turns to Grace for advice when he finds out Courtney (Jessica Paré) is having sex with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Jack's relationship with Katie (guest star Kate Mara, "Everwood") progresses and in an effort to become popular at school, Bobby (Logan Lerman) and Warren (Dean Collins) decide to have sleep over and come up with a shocking idea to make the evening memorable.

I can't believe they would have Jack walk in on T/G. It should be intresting to see how they present it, I keep running it through my mind and can't find a good way to really show that, unless they just imply it, which would suck. Anyway I hope T/G can make it through the Commity.

I think in general, Jack is used to being the man of the house. He may fight with his mother a lot, but he also likes being the most important guy in her life. It's going to be a bit of a shock for him to realize that he's been shoved out of that position. he's still important to her, but he's not the center of her universe, like Tom. It'll be hard for him to have a guy, (especially a young, atractive one), around the house, being close with Grace, and being a friend of sorts to Bobby. I can imagine some jealousy taking place. I think Bobby, though he may reject the idea of Tom at first, will inevitably accept it, and look up to him, since Bobby seems like a kid who longs for role models. Jimmy was his idol, Peter's his idol, and I can see Tom being like that too. As for T/G themselves, I can actually see them working. (Although that might just be a dream.) From what I can see, they adore each other, and so far have impacted each other's lives postively. So, here's to praying the ethics committee all drop dead at random.

I completely agree with the thing about Jack accepting Tom..

I really don't know what to think about with the ethics committee.. It could go either way..

Thanks for the new spoilers

I think it's better that Jack walk in rather than Bobby - if you think about it, Bobby might feel uncomfortable and just becoming introverted, while Jack on the other hand, is more verbal and extroverted and confront Grace and Tom head on, causing a better storyline, which will draw fans in. I love that Jack isn't afraid to confront his mother and it should be interesting to see what exactly he says and what Grace's response will be back.

I don't think I like the Bobby/Warren storyline - it just seems out of character for both - yes, they want to be "popular", but it's like the drug storyline and to me, it didn't feel right...but that's completely my opinion.

I agree. Bobby and Warren always trying to be popular by doing odd things that are certain to backfire is a little....trying, I guess. Especially since they seem fairly bright for their age, and it'd be nice to see a teen who was a little mature. Although, still curious as to what Tom'll do when he realizes that Grace's son has porn, and he's the one whose supposed to be supervising. Ah, the terror! Anyway, a little worried about the whole "Peter and Grace stuck in the collage" bit. I really hope they don't rush into a triangle. Especially considering Peter still needs to recover from his wife's suicide, not to mention re-connect with his daughters. Being friends with Grace may help him, but dating her is a complication that takes a lot of thought, and from what I can see, Tom is the only one devoted enough to her to take the time to unravel all her little quirks and problems. But then, T/G shipper here, so I'm a little biased.

ETA: Jack vs. Grace should be intriguing. What do you say when you realize your mom's dating someone who's so close in age to you? although, it's Grace, so the tramua may be that she's even dating at all .

It will be interesting to see what goes down with Peter and Grace stuck together.. I always thought he acted different when he was around her, I think he has a little crush possibly..
I think they'll mainly just talk though.. like you said, Cat, about his problem with his daughters and such..

Yeah, I've often thought he liked her more than she liked him. His face seems to get a little different around her. Or even at the mention of her. Like, at the end of Election Night, when he's talking to Bobby, and Bobby says something about Grace, we see Peter's face grow a bit quite. Plus, at the end of Better Days, you have his "What if it was a date" line. I can see him being a bit, erm, not quite jealous, just a bit put-off, after learning about Tom. We shall see....
