Today I Am A Man: December 1
Jack (Matt Long) is mortified after Grace (Christine Lahti) catches him buying condoms in preparation for his big night with Missy (Keri Lynn Pratt). Trying to be supportive of his actions, Grace insists that Jack talk to her about sex and questions him about whether he is sure Missy is the right girl. Meanwhile, Jimmy (guest star Tom Cavanaugh) slips back into his old habits, forcing Grace to make a difficult decision about her family. Also, Bobby (Logan Lerman) tries to help Warren (guest star Dean Collins) win over his crush Deena (guest star) but is surprised when she declares she has feelings for Bobby.

Jessica Pare, John Slattery and Bradley Cooper also star. Michael Schultz directed the episode written by Michael Green.

Running Scared: January 12
Grace is spending a lot of time at Tom's apartment but may get busted when she accidently runs into a student, Natalie, in the apartment hallway and tries to subliminally blackmail her with her grade in a later conversation. Courtney helps untie a college kid, Nate, whose practically naked in front of her house as part of a hazing to get into a fraternity. She takes a liking to him and pretends to be in a fraternity and goes to visit him at a fraternity party, but his feelings for her are not what she had hoped.

Grace and Jack are not happy when they visit the doctor to find out Jack has seriously hurt his knee in an accident recently by a bunch of thugs. Jack may not be able to run for at least 3-4 months under doctor orders.

Erwin Appointed to 'Jack & Bobby' Role

HOLLYWOOD (Zap2it.com) Frequent WB go-to guy Mike Erwin has landed another part on a Frog network series, signing on for multiple episodes of "Jack & Bobby."
Erwin will appear in at least six episodes of the first-year drama, playing a college student and love interest for future first lady Courtney Benedict (Jessica Pare), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Jack & Bobby" will be at least the fifth WB series in which Erwin has appeared. He's probably best known for a recurring part as Colin "Coma Boy" Hart on "Everwood," which like "Jack & Bobby" is executive produced by Greg Berlanti. He's also done guest appearances on "Reba," "7th Heaven" and "One Tree Hill" and starred in two pilots for the network, a 2003 comedy called "Trash" and last season's "Lost in Space" update.

Notes
- This episode marks the return of Jack & Bobby after a short hiatus. In December through most of January the WB network decided to air the reality series Big Man on Campus and deflect away fro J&B reruns which don't perform well.
- This episode begins Mike Erwin's recurring role as character Nate Edmonds, Coutney's (Jessica Pare) love interest in the series.

Episode 13: A New Frontier - February 2, 2005
Grace, Tom and Bobby go camping for an upcoming meteor shower, but Bobby is not too happy at all that Tom decided to tag along in the first place. Jack befriends a girl patient, Katie (who also goes to school with him) in the waiting room of his doctor's office for his knee appointment. Also, Jack's relationship with Missy is strained when Randy, Truman High's football captain gets in between the two as he tries to steal Missy from Jack. Jack tries to compete but ends up embarrassing Missy later on at a party by being drunk and inevitably ends their relationship.

Episode 14: Into the Woods - February 9, 2005
Peter takes Bobby on a hunting trip; Courtney contemplates moving her relationship with Nate forward.

Episode 15: Time Out of Life - February 16, 2005

A bad snow storms hits Hart, Missouri. Tom babysits Bobby and Warren's sleepover with the "cool" kids at Grace's house as he coerced them into coming as they promised they would watch porn. But the plan backfires when the tape goes missing, the power goes out and everyone is trapped. Grace and Peter are stuck in their offices on campus waiting for the power to come back and the roads to clear. Jack, Courtney, Missy and Katie are also trapped together, where they play a game of dare and inevitably leads to Jack and Courtney's first REAL kiss together in front of everyone.

Episode 16: And Justice for All - February 23, 2005
Grace has to go up against the University Ethics Committee when they find out about her relationship with Tom. Bobby and Warren solicite themselves to members in the neighborhood to do odd jobs, but they keep getting rejected until Mrs. Sorensen has them clean out her infested garage at a very low wage. In a twist, Bobby finds Jack's wallet in the garage that was stolen by one of the guys that robbed him and finds out Mrs. Sorensens godson Ted was storing stuff in his garage. Jack and Marcus decide to confront him where he works, but it doesn't go well.

Then, Jack and Marcus immediately call the police but things don't go so well. Marcus and Jack then decide to take matters into their own hands with Ted, but it backfires. In the future Pres. McCallister has to handle being criticized by former Pres. Adler in retaliation to when McCallister criticzed Adler when he was president and the U.S. was at war and McCallister criticized his handling over the War of Americas.
