In addition to the pilot spoilers I posted a while back (in the OP):

• There's a part where Mike takes Donnie's old room and Charlie gives him Donnie's spare key to the house, and that little keychain ends up being like an identification tag when Donnie and Mike face each other at gun point in the safe house, meeting for the first time. Otherwise Donnie would've shot Mike.
• There's also a "fake movie" plot line that proved beneficial to the episode. Briggs and Johnny explained it to Mike on their way to his first case. It started way before Mike got to California, and Briggs was cornered by the Russian drug dealers because his face was all over the television at one point and he was recognized during an undercover case. So he made up some crap about being an actor and eventually Johnny got in on it and got his own fake identity, then in this episode Mike also ends up involved. He uses Johnny's fabricated storyline and it saved his ass when he was working his first case. It'll be interesting to see if they're going to keep this plot line.
• Mike gets a nickname: Levi. Because when he was undercover, he went to make a trade with a guy and it ended up being 1200 or some pairs of knock off Levi jeans.
• "Johnny" is also a nickname. In their "fake movie", he shoots a guy sitting on the toilet... the john... and the name stuck.

It's a really good pilot; you can tell that they're really focusing more on the characters themselves as opposed to just being a case-by-case kind of show. The fluidity was really great, too; little things in the beginning of the episode played a part in the end and akshdfgh, it was just great.

I can't wait for Paige (Serinda Swan) to show up in the next episode. And Mike's progression as a character, because he's so out of place initially, but he's really clever and you can tell he's gonna be a good agent.
