Gossip Girl S&S #1822: No title, xoxo Aurora
 Welcome to the Gossip Girl spoiler and speculation thread, feel free to post about any upcoming story-line and discuss it with the other people in here. We urge you to not bash the actors nor the users because it's not allowed by the rules, but anything else with a good argument is welcomed. Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. I don't see the writers turning anything on Blair either. The reason they split was quite obvious last year. __________________

I think people are saying they're turning it around on Blair because it's all her issues and her baggage ending their relationship. I don't have a crystal ball, but we were told in the last thread that Blair doesn't say anything about trust to Chuck. This isn't about him or what he did to her, it's about how she needs to become a powerful woman. So they're pinning the breakup on Blair's issues, to the point where other posters are saying they see why Chuck would be furious about DB if Blair told him she needed to be independent and that's why they can't be together. |

No ,she really didn't she still blames Chuck for the IP, which she should and she brought that fact up when Eva was here. She blamed herself for the act she was going to perform with Jack -which she should have. While it was all for Chuck, she still should not have been willing to go through with it. On teh CJ stuff- C and J made a mistake and ,really, the whole "fate" thing- I'll buy it. Both acknowledged making mistakes that led to their break up.

I truly and honestly don't get it. Blair lost herself in her relationship with Chuck, she says that he makes her feel weak. She's actually trying to separate herself from that and become powerful in her own way and her own right, so she won't find herself lost in Chuck the next time together. How is that bad? How does that negate what Chuck has done or the reason why they broke up? How does that stop Chuck from growing on his own? Would it be better if she explicitly says "we broke up last year because of the IP and CJ and that is your fault" somewhere in the convo? I'd love if the writers gave Chuck a nice, pretty speech about his growth or need to grow. Who knows, maybe they will? It's good for Blair, it would be good for Chuck. __________________

All that's disappeared and it's all on Blair's shoulders for wanting to be a powerful woman first before being a power couple. Chuck's done nothing to earn her back or deserve her back, he didn't even do anything to be forgiven for the IP other than sleep with 353534 women and then issue an ultimatum. So I'm not seeing why suddenly now he'd have to grow or anything later before she's ready to take him back again. |

I'm not seeing how one thing magically negates the other. If there isn't enough focus on Chuck and his side of thing (including his flaws), blame the skewed writing.... but I don't see how that effects the reason why they broke up in the first place. __________________
