I agree Lisa. Show runners can and will cynically play the fans of a couple to keep them around when they do something horrible to them. It's the nature of the business, and I don't like it.

I just wish Josh and SS don't think just because CB is end game it's ok to put them through this kind of crap

Unless they've totally changed their mind about DV, I don't see how it could be them. Josh seemed really excited about them, and they described them as the new "it" couple. I can't see them saying that if they never intended to keep them together. They've only been together for a handful of episodes, and it's only recently that they actually came out as a couple. Having said that, what Vanessa did to him is pretty reprehensible. Plus, I have no idea what the writers are doing anymore, so it really could be anyone.

I feel like they are probably either referring to DS or NS, but I don't have any proof of that, obviously. Or it could be referring to a couple that people ask about but who have never happened on the show, like CJ or DB or something. I don't know.

I would LOVE it if the couple to not root for was one of the more popular AU couples like Dan/Blair or Chuck/Serena.
But I bet it's a completely ridiculous couple like Rufus and Vanessa!

I find it really intriguing that they planned CB from the pilot. This is exactly what Shu said too.

My guess for the couple we shouldn't root for is Dan/Blair.

I don't think it's DS or NS because they're both fairly popular. Even if JS and SS have no intention of either of those couples ending up together,it would be stupid to admit that now.

i kind of feel better after the article. S1 was about CB admitting their feelings to themselves, S2 was about admitting it to each other/others & getting passed a lot of their walls, S3 is about getting passed the trust issues...
